Roundbrand Rankings 1/5/09

Here is the first Ranking of the New Year.  It comes with many changes.  Due to end of month accounting we saw some big jumps for a few players.  We also have seen some old Regulars get hurt a bit by not having played much the past few months.

The big kicker is that for now I have replaced Jonathan at the top of the board.  It is a small lead that could change back the other way with one game played.  Thanks to a couple first place finishes in a row I was able to make this jump.

Full Leaderboard is below the fold.

Roundbrand Rankings 12/29/08 and Other Stuff

Well, we managed to get a game in yesterday that a whole three of us showed up for.  It was not pretty and so it will not be deserving of a full recap.  Suffice it to say that none of us played well.  Plympton and I could not drive all day and Jonathan’s normally trusty putt was not in sight.  Lakewood will not get the best of us like that anytime soon.  However, between the wet and cold we survived and managed to not lose any discs unlike some other players we saw on the course yesterday.

As for future games I am contemplating an evening game on New Years Eve.  Maybe 6PM at Sea-Tac.  It looks like we may have a few hours of not too much rain that evening.  Give us a chance to get the blood flowing before we head off to various parties.

Also, I am hoping to do the New Year’s Day game like we did last year.  For that one I am shooting for a 1:30PM Tee time at Lakewood.

Lastly, here is the final Ranking for 2008.  End of month accounting will kick in next week.  I expect it to help Richard and Cathy in particular.  Speaking of, Richard and Plympton flopped spots once again as the only movement on the board.  Leaderboard is below the fold.

Roundbrand Rankings 12/1/08

Big changes in this weeks Rankings.  First off we had end of month accounting so last year’s November has fallen off.  Also, I made a change in how people are docked for not playing.

Mostly this was done to make my life easier because it was getting confusing for me.  The way it works now is that if you play in at least one Roundbrand game a month you are not docked any participation points.  It used to be you had to play two rounds.  This change helped a few people quite a bit.  Most notably Weaver, Cathy, Mikayla and Plympton.  It ended up hurting Richard though.  Sorry buddy.

The other big change was I reduced the severity of the penalty for not playing in any one month.  This has made the scores on the Part-Timers jump up a bit.  Feel free to shoot me an email with any questions about these changes.

Here is the new Leaderboard!
