It is cold, wet and windy. I have not acclimated to this weather yet, so I think I will pass on Disc Golf this weekend. Hopefully it gets a tad bit nicer in the coming weeks and we can start getting some good crowds again.
I’m not going to spend too much time on this one. It was ugly out there folks. No one played great and the wind and air pressure made everyone shoot all over the place. It was a frustrating round for me. Easily my worst played game in a long time and I do not think I was alone.
Shot of the day goes to Plympton for getting the only Birdie of the day. Runner up is Jonathan’s ridiculous tee shot on 12 in the rain. He made it past where the short basket sits. Easily 350 feet.

With the end of October we have concluded our first year of Roundbrand play. Jonathan comes out the clear champion. (Full Final leaderboard is below the fold.) Congratulations go to Jonathan for not only a very consistent year, but at times spectacular. He went under par more than any other player and won game after game. We can only hope to see Jonathan continue to improve this year and become a birdie machine.
Next week you will all notice a change in some scores as the Rankings from here forward will only include the past 12 months. This should have a dramatic effect on players who only joined us in the past few months. Keep an eye out for that as we move into a new year of play.
Also, as I mentioned recently we will be trying to play more games of singles this year. With that I would like input on whether we should start using handicaps with our scoring.
