The final leg of our journey last Sunday took us to Sea-Tac for a full 18 holes. We decided to move venue mid-stream since Lakewood was still short four holes due to the bike race. We also decided that with only six of us we would just keep our teams together for the round.
Let me just say this. We kicked Sea-Tac’s butt. I think without looking it up that both teams bested by one stroke the top score ever at Sea-Tac by a Roundbrand team on Sunday. Jonathan, Ethan and Cathy almost finished the front 9 under par! They were amazing. Ethan was sinking putts left and right and Cathy was showing that her latest jump up is no fluke. She is throwing lower, with better aim and tons more distance. Her 2nd shots were helping put the team in great putting position. On top of all that Jonathan continued to throw long drive after long drive.
My team rode the back of one Weaver very hard. Thankfully I finally made a couple putts as did Richard.
All told this one came down to putting on hole 18. When the dust settled we had a tie. So we played hole 2 again and thanks to an unlucky putt we won the day.
