Before this brief review I just wanted to say that the new Rankings will be coming out soon.  It is a bit more data entry than I expected.

Enough of that however, let’s quickly review last Sunday’s scorching round.  That refers more to the extremely warm day than it does the scores.  We started with eight players but ended with six.  Dad wasn’t feeling too well and had to bow out, so Mom took him home.  So we mixed and matched and pushed forward.

Weaver brought his friend Jimmie out for the first time.  I must say that I do not remember being so proficient at this game when I first started playing.  Jimmie seemed like a natural and helped Weaver out on a number of holes.

I do not do this often, but I am giving Weaver two shots of the day.  His drives on both Hole 7 and Hole 13 were amazing.  Both led to point blank Birdie shots for his team.  Jonathan had a similar shot on Hole 7 but I was not in his group so I missed the chance to see it fly first hand.

In the end, the pairing of Ethan and me proved too consistent for the field.  We only went over par on three holes which set us up for a strong finish.
