Last weekend was an amazing one for February. The Chicquette clan was in force as we played the White River Course on Saturday and then Lake Fenwick on Sunday. This was only my second time out to Fenwick and I must say this go around was much dryer. I still get very confused as to what the correct way to play the course is, but we created a nice 18 hole run for ourselves.

Jonathan and I played solo both rounds while Mom and Dad teamed with Mikayla. Jonathan managed victories both days to keep his current reign as king of the Roundbrand regulars. The final score for Saturday looks closer than it really was since Jonathan took a 3 stroke lead into the final hole and gave two back on 18. I must say that the tight fairways at White River really have a tendency to make one bad shot compound fast into multiple bad shots. This one was in Jonathan’s back pocket after just three holes as #’s 2 & 3 kicked my butt.

Sunday at Fenwick was interesting as we all shot 32′s on the back 9. Mom, Dad & Mikayla managed the only Birdie of the weekend on hole 5. Way to go guys! I managed to sink a putt on 17 as I was starting to slide down the hill, but it was not enough to make up for my ugly 7 on hole 14. Kudos to everyone for some really well played Disc Golf.
