Well that was one interesting round yesterday. We showed up at Lakewood thankful the weatherman was wrong as it was a dry day. However, it was cooooold and ridiculously windy. Just off the top of my head I would say we saw at least 70+ shots that were seriously altered by the wind. It messed with tee shots, approach shots, putts and it even moved some bags and beverages around. Honestly it was difficult to tell where half of the shots would have gone minus the blustery conditions.

Weaver showed up and brought Alexis along. She stuck with it for the first 9 holes. Her patience was waning by around hole 6, so I must really commend her for hanging in there. Not many 2 year olds would be willing to get blown around like she was. Weaver played by himself through 9 and had a 34 going which would have put him in second place at that point.

All told, we had a nice turnout for the day. As far as scores go I am sure most everyone would like to forget the day, but somehow Mom and I managed a decent score. Her 30+ putt on 12 was amazing to see. Mikayla seemed to be the biggest enemy of the wind. Multiple times her putts were blown over the top of the basket or down off of the cage. If luck truly evens out she is due for an amazing round soon.

Hopefully we will not see winds like that any time soon. Here are the scores.
