Awesome day for Disc Golf yesterday. On Friday night Mike, Jonathan and I decided to meet up for a morning round at Lakewood before we went off to the Auburn Game Farm. So, we met at 10AM and powered our way through a quick 18 holes. It was well played and close throughout. As you can see in the scores below we had a run of 7 holes in a row where we all scored the same. In the end it took a par from me and a bogey from Weaver on the 18th Hole for us to tie at 11 over par. Jonathan finished a mere two strokes behind.

Failure to communicate on a couple fronts made a few of us late getting to the round at Auburn Game Farm. We ended up with a much better showing than anticipated. All told we had nine players that we split into four teams. Thankfully Dad’s back felt good enough to make it out and he was the player of the day. I was not matched in his grouping but Sean, Linda and Jonathan all raved about how his putting stole the show. Take a look at the consistency in their score. I think the day is close when one of us shoots par for a round, but for now bask in the glow of the 3 over par our champs shot yesterday.
