We had a great turnout for the first round of Disc Golf in 2008. Ten people showed up for a dry and fun day of Disc Golf at Lakewood. I had hoped for scores in the 60′s, and all four teams did just that. We finally got Mike Weaver and Vince out to Lakewood for the first time and predictably Weaver’s long drives won the day with an incredibly strong back 9. We split up into two groups on the front 9 as the course was very busy. On the back 9 we all played together which allowed us all to watch Weaver eat the course for lunch.
